Mother's special - Mankind
We have many times heard "Women are born mothers." This statement forces me to think deeply. I tried to explore the kind of Mothers have in today's and early eras.
1. Mother - who gives birth to her child before marriage. Best example from history is Kunti from Mahabharat, who abandoned her child Karan due to societal fear of non-acceptance. Do we recognise such mother's in this era. Is there any paradigm shift in thought process. Do these mother's have same emotions for their child which normal mother's ( defined as giving birth to their child post marriage as per societal norms). Should we say Happy Mother's day to them and show respect to such mother's.
Today, we have many examples in society. One of the daring mother, I noticed is Ms Neena Gupta (actress) mother of a girl child. She nurtured her single handedly in tight social norms.
2. Single Mother - This number is increasing day by day. Due to differences in the couple's life, a child mostly handed over to mother who takes care her child.The life is not only difficult for mother but the child is the player who is already defeated here in the game. Does this mother has same kind of emotions for the child or it increases in volumes so that a child does not miss father? Yes, we should respect them for being single handedly nurturing the child but don't you think a daring mother is a mothern who accepts the challenge of sorting differences with the spouse and make sure her child gets the love of father as well. When I look back our mothers era, I feel respected, at one point in their life, they used to live for their child.
3. Mother of an adopted child before marriage. They are change makers, risk takers and example setters. They specify that woman are born mothers. They hardly need training and labour pain for giving quality life to kids. Showering unconditional love is what a mother is. This kind of mother is a brave mother. Why do we call Miss Teresa - Mother. She has many attributes but the most important was Love.
In today's era, I notice Sushmita Sen, mother of 3 kids and she took the lead of being mother besides social stigmas at an age when she herself was teen.
4. Mother who adopts many child and owns orphanage inspite ofhof her own child. These kind of Mothers are leading example of society and are change setters. Sindhu Tai is an example wherein she nurtured orphans who are living loving life. Many of them are doctors, engineers, lawyers. These mother's are daring mother's.
5. Nanny's - Nurtures the child in the absence of busy mother. Although they perform their professional duty but being human, emotions take utmost position while showering love to a child. The Nanny's of high status busy mother's also need high regard on this Mother's day.
6. Surrogate Mother - This is new trend rising high in the society. This is boon to parents who can not have children. But, in the process, the womb in which a child lives for 9 months initiates emotions of being mother. No matter what, a lady who bears a child in womb and tolerates labour pains happily is a mother. They need huge regard who makes other happy by not showing their tears to the world.
7. Working mother's who always feel guilty for not imparting their full motherhood in nurturing their children. They always remain confused whether accomplishing their ambition over bearing and nurturing children is correct or not. They struggle in home and office. They take extra burden of taking care of home as well as office efficiently but still feel depressed. This pressure is making young couple post marriage to postpone the parenthood. Ambitious career oriented women chose not to bear a child over her ambitions or dreams due to a pressure that she will never be accepted orior rise career post bearing children. Hence, brave working mother's who are nurturing their kids happily needs huge appreciation.
8. Full time mother's are the mother's who have sacrificed everything for nurturing their kids. Their priority in life is to shower love, affection and values to their kids. They have chosen children over anything else in life and needs a loads of love today.
9. Mother - in Law - is a mother by law. Today in society, we can see young couple either preferring to stay separately from their old parents or throwing their old parents in old age homes. An old lady post her husband's death mainly depends on her son. The mother who nurtured her son, made him capable of living high status life, gets old age home to live, imagine the type of society we are in. Sadly, I encountered the same case in our society, very close by , an old lady who was highly respected by all society members, one day prefers to move out of the house quietly since she was been harrassed by her son and daughter in law from very long. What do we say to this mother?
Mother's are always special. The world is zero without mother. She is the only human being having unconditional love for her kids, no matter what.
